The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
March 2 — Charges of selling or transferring a firearm and statement under penalty were filed against Adam S. McClimans, 39, of Petrolia, following a Sept. 15 incident in Washington Township. Police said he attempted to buy a shotgun from Logan’s Gun Gallery and indicated on the purchase form that he had not been convicted of any offense with a maximum penalty of more than a year in prison. However, in 2019, he was convicted of a second driving under the influence, which has a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
Feb. 18 — Two counts of driving under the influence and three summary traffic citations were filed against Michael A. McClure Jr., 26, of Saxonburg, following a Jan. 18 traffic stop on Route 8 in Butler Township. Police said McClure showed signs of impairment during a field sobriety test. A breath test revealed he had a blood alcohol content of 0.153%, which is above the legal limit of 0.08%.
Feb. 18 — Paul J. Miller, 48, of Cabot, was arrested on resisting arrest and disorderly conduct charges and placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail following a Feb. 18 incident in Butler Township.
