Cynthia Jo Magill, 75, of Butler, peacefully passed away early Thursday morning, Feb. 26, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.

Born Feb. 1, 1951, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Michael Angela and Naomi Ruth Bond Lazuka.

She was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church in Butler.

Retiring after 24 years, she was employed as a secretary for the Moraine State Park office in Prospect.

Cynthia enjoyed her grandkids, great-grandson and camping with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Glenn W. Magill; her children, Ethan Magill, of Mount Vernon, Wash., and Devin (Tara) Magill, of Butler; four grandchildren, Bailee, Kolbie, Mason and Evan Magill; one great-grandson; her siblings, David (Paula) Lazuka, of Massachusetts, and Judy (Joseph) Nemcek, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

MAGILL — Visitation for Cynthia Jo Magill, who died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 9, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jarod Crawford, her church pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
