Prospect woman charged after failing to repay alleged theft
A Prospect woman is facing felony theft charges after police say she failed to repay her former employer $7,000 she allegedly stole.
Shelley Foulk, 52, was charged with theft on Feb. 17. State police said she has not paid nor contacted her former employer a year after the incident.
According to an affidavit in the case, police responded to a report of theft at Michael’s Restaurant in Franklin Township on Feb. 26, 2025.
There, owner Gerald Rumberg told police a server was completing transactions as gift certificates despite the restaurant not selling them. Police say Rumberg provided records of all the transactions, totaling $7,100.02.
On Feb. 27, 2025, Foulk signed a statement saying she would pay back the restaurant.
Foulk’s preliminary hearing is yet to be scheduled.
