BUTLER TWP — Plans for future development for Pullman Recreation Complex are in the pipeline, pending final approval from the township’s board of commissioners.

Butler Township Planning Commission voted unanimously Tuesday, March 3, to approve land development for the second phase of Pullman Recreation Complex.

Township manager Tom Knights said the plan includes two new fields, a new support building for an existing field, a parking lot and a walking trail.

He said he hopes to put the building project out to bid as soon as commissioners grant final approval and to have it finished by the fall. As for parking, he said he hopes to have it out to bid in May and have it completed by September.
