James Harrison Colligan Jr., 71, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at Quality Life Services — Sugar Creek.

Born on June 13, 1954, in Butler, he was the son of the late James Harrison Colligan Sr. and Margaret (Irwin) Colligan, of East Brady.

James is survived by his mother; his children, Clint Colligan, of Allentown, Nicholas Colligan, of Chicora, Adam (Amber) Colligan, of Portersville, and Sara Colligan, of East Brady; three brothers, Bruce Colligan, Tim Colligan and John Colligan; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; as well as his former wife, Laura Colligan, of East Brady.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Chris Gizienski; and his brother, Joe Colligan.

COLLIGAN — Services and burial will be private for James Harrison Colligan Jr., who died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026.
