Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Feb. 11 — Eric Eugene Wright, 52, of Evans City, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault following a Feb. 10 incident. Police said Wright attempted to strangle a woman and pull her to the ground.
Feb. 10 — Michael John Bishop, 36, of Fombell, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 23 crash. Police said Bishop had a blood alcohol content of 0.329%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 11 — Quinn Michael Tonin, 19, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 28 traffic stop. Police said Tonin had a blood alcohol content of 0.118%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 11 — Connor William Long, 18, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Jan. 31 crash. Police said Long had a blood alcohol content of 0.106%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 10 — Mehki Antone Twillie, 22, of Erie, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following a Feb. 2 crash. Police said Twillie struck a vehicle and left the scene.
Feb. 10 — Gary Andrew Gibson Jr., 48, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Oct. 12 traffic stop in Seven Fields. Police said Gibson had a blood alcohol content of 0.191%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 10 — Andrew David Myers, 39, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two felony DUI counts and misdemeanor unauthorized vehicle use following a Feb. 10 incident in Clay Township. Police said Myers was not permitted to drive the vehicle and had a blood alcohol content of 0.13%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 11 — Derek Scott Cameron, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Jan. 30 incident in Mercer Township. Police said Cameron showed signs of impairment.
Feb. 11 — Tre Lorenz Walton, 25, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor theft following a Nov. 18 incident in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Walton stole $31.73 in tips from a restaurant.
