Zachary M. Hilliard, 29, of Oil City, passed away in a car accident on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, in Sugarcreek Borough.

Born May 5, 1996, in Kittanning, he was the son of Randy Martin, of Bruin, and Kimmy Cowan and her husband, Wayne, of East Brady.

Zachary was a graduate of Butler High School.

He had worked as a mechanic for Mark Thomas.

Zachary was married on June 10, 2023, to the former Sierra D. Wolfe, and she survives.

He enjoyed kayaking and anything and everything about cars.

Zach enjoyed playing Call of Duty and watching YouTube.

Most of all, he loved playing with the kids and enjoyed his dogs.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is survived by four children, Braelynn Weckerly, Rhett Hilliard, Magnolia Hilliard and Wyatt Hilliard; two sisters, Angela Hilliard, of East Brady, and Odyssie Brown, of Bruin; and one brother, Jeff Hilliard, of East Brady. Several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles also survive.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Marsha Ealy and Patricia Schoeffel.

HILLIARD — Friends of Zachary M. Hilliard, who died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at REINSEL FUNERAL HOME, 116 Bissell Ave., Oil City.
