Virginia Ammon
Virginia Anne Ammon, 74, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026.
Born Feb. 15, 1952, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ida Kathleen (Stirland) Carlisle.
Virginia had various jobs throughout her life, but her most treasured ones were being a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother, better known as Meme. She enjoyed creating memories for her friends and family and giving back to the community through her church. Virginia always embraced the holiday spirit wholeheartedly, bringing warmth, joy and tradition to all family gatherings. One of her greatest delights was designing and creating costumes for her grandchildren, a talent that reflected her creativity and deep affection for them.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Richard Ammon; her children, Russell (Heather) Ammon and Christopher (Renee) Ammon; her grandchildren, Bayleigh (Bobby) Hain, Dylan Ammon and Rachael Ammon; her siblings, Debbie (Chuck) Weekley, Cathy Johnson and Mark Carlisle; her niece, Rae Barker; her cousins, Jeff (Mary) Stirland and Ronny (Elaine) Stirland; and special friends, the Colemans, Fennels and Lochs.
