Create pottery in memory of a loved one at this upcoming workshop

Hope’s Road, formerly Good Samaritan Hospice’s Youth Bereavement Care, will host a free event for children, teens, young adults and their families who have experienced the death of a loved one.

“The Art of Healing” takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at Steele’s Brushes and Ceramics, 1631 N. Main St. Extension, Center Township. Free registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Attendees will be invited to pray, create pottery and paint in memory of a loved one to express emotions and form bonds with other families facing grief. Lunch will be provided for all guests, and all children must be accompanied by an adult, according to Hope’s Road.

Registration is strongly encouraged by March 9, but walk-ins are welcome. To register or learn more, visit the events page at ConcordiaLM.org. For questions or to register by phone, call 1-800-720-2557.
