Bonnie Wilson
Bonnie J. Wilson, 75, of Chicora, passed away the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, after a battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 27, 1950, and raised in Eau Claire, the daughter of the late John and Patricia (Stroup) Deal.
Bonnie was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church and volunteered with the North Washington VFD Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the bell choir at church and also taught Vacation Bible School for many years. She bowled with the Notes team and enjoyed playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. Recently, Bonnie spent the last year watching Hallmark movies with friends and family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Blaine P. Wilson Jr., whom she married April 16, 1971; one son, Blaine P. (Carrie) Wilson III, of Karns City; one daughter, Bridgette Angert, of Chicora; four grandchildren, Blaine IV, Brayden, Amber and Arica; two sisters, Beverly Kusner, of Karns City, and Brenda (John) Stepp, of Texas; three brothers, Ed (Cheryl) Deal, of Boyers, Don (Pam) Deal, of Karns City, and John (Sherry) Deal, of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews.
WILSON — A celebration of life service for Bonnie J. Wilson, who died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Concord Presbyterian Church, 673 Hooker Road, West Sunbury. Family and friends may gather at church for times of remembrance beginning at 10 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to wear Bonnie’s favorite color, green, or Steelers attire. Her family asks that anyone attending bring or share photos of Bonnie with them.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Washington VFD Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 94, North Washington, PA 16048.
