Laura McCloskey of Apex, N.C., formerly of Butler, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at the age of 92.

She was born Sept. 24, 1933, in Natrona. She retired as a federal government employee after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Surviving are her two daughters, Tracey Ewing, of Apex, N.C., and Nicole (Jamie) McQueen, of Four Oaks, N.C.; and her son, Todd (Vickie) Fritz, of Monroeville. She was the proud grandmother of six, Gage and Taylor McQueen, and Timothy, Zachary, Katherine and Alyssa Fritz.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
