Thousands of “Jeepers” are expected to gather to the birthplace of the Jeep once again this June for the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival.

The 15th annual festival will be held from June 12 through 14 at Cooper’s Lake Campground and downtown Butler. In conjunction with the nation’s 250th anniversary, event organizers said to expect themed programming, enhanced exhibits, expanded trail experiences and patriotic tributes.

The event will feature off-road trails, an obstacle course, vendor areas, family-friendly activities and more. It will also feature the return of the Jeep Invasion into downtown Butler and the Barbee Jeep Race.

Organizers suggest those interested preregister for activities and programming early as activities routinely sell out in advance. Spectator tickets will be available for those without a Jeep interested in attending.

The festival is also looking for volunteers. More information on preregistration, tickets, volunteer opportunities and more can be found at www.bantamjeepfestival.com.
