North Catholic girls basketball headed to WPIAL semis: Roundup
Beaver was no match for North Catholic in Thursday’s WPIAL Class 4A girls basketball quarterfinal playoff at Pine-Richland High School.
The No. 3 Trojanettes crushed the No. 6 Bobcats 57-26, paced by 19 points from junior Lauren Reitz.
Sam Weir added 14 points and Brady Wehner 12 for North, which clinched a spot in next month’s PIAA tournament with the victory.
The Trojanettes will take on Oakland Catholic in a district semifinal Monday at a site and time to be determined.
