Ethan Nicholas, a Cranberry Township resident and business leader, said he is seeking the Republican nomination to run to represent the 12th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

President of the Pittsburgh Business Exchange, Nicholas made his announcement Tuesday, Feb. 17, the day after Republican incumbent Stephenie Scialabba said she is not running for a third term in office. She is entering the final year of her second four-year term.

Under his leadership, PBEX has grown to serve more than 35,000 members and subscribers and hosts dozens of events annually that bring together leaders from business, government, education, and nonprofit sectors, he said in a news release.
