FRANKLIN TWP — The township board of supervisors passed a motion to advertise a community cleanup event during the second weekend in May.

The first day of the event, Friday, May 8, community members will likely have longer hours to accommodate those working late. The second and last day of the Franklin Township cleanup days will be Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9, which will run shorter.

With the passage of the motion, residents of the area can expect to see advertisements with more information going up around the community within the coming weeks.

The Franklin Township Board of Supervisors regularly meet the third Monday of every month.
