Ethan Brooks
Ethan J. Brooks, 27, of Saxonburg and Bridgeville, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday evening, Feb. 9, 2026, at St. Clair Hospital.
Born in Butler on Nov. 12, 1998, he was the son of Leslie Bridgeman and the late Edward T. Brooks.
Ethan was a 2017 graduate of Knoch High School, where he played lacrosse. He also graduated from Penn State Behrend with a mechanical engineering degree. He was an Eagle Scout at Cooperstown BSA Troop 58.
Ethan was a field technician for Calgon Carbon in Robinson Township.
He was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at Holy Sepulcher Church.
Ethan was fun-loving, constantly wearing a smile, musically gifted and always singing or humming a tune. He will be dearly missed by all.
Surviving are his fiancée, Kelsie L. Eiler; his mother, Leslie Bridgeman, of Saxonburg; his brothers, Patrick Brooks, of Middlesex Township, Gregory Brooks (Emily), of Idaho, and Stephen Brooks, of Saxonburg. He is also survived by many cousins.
BROOKS — Friends of Ethan J. Brooks, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler. Please meet at the church.
Memorials may be made in Ethan’s memory to the Cooperstown Boy Scout Troop 58.
