Chrissy McGregor, the newest member of the Butler Transit Authority’s board of directors, made her introduction and first votes at the board meeting Tuesday, Feb. 10.

“I’m very happy to be here,” she said.

McGregor said she has worked for the Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Center as a fiscal analyst for the past two years. She previously worked in the accounting department for the Alliance for Nonprofit Resources. She also serves on the board of directors for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Butler County.

“Financials are my thing,” she said.

She joined the board for a five-year term after longtime chairman Joe Hasychak stepped down at the end of the year.

During the meeting, she took over a longstanding tradition of Hasychak’s to make the motion to approve the authority’s financial report.

The next Butler Transit Authority meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10.
