Concordia signs purchase agreement with Reformed Presbyterian Home

Concordia Lutheran Ministries is making yet another acquisition.

The nonprofit senior care provider has signed an asset purchase agreement with Reformed Presbyterian Home of Pittsburgh to add it to Concordia’s family of locations.

Details regarding the transition have yet to be determined, and the closing process requires approval from several regulatory authorities. The process could take 60 to 90 days to officially close and transfer assets.

Cara Todhunter will remain executive director, and Concordia plans to honor all resident contracts and obligations.

Located in Pittsburgh’s North Side, Reformed Presbyterian Home provides skilled nursing, personal care and retirement living accommodations. The community serves 350 to 400 residents and patients annually and employs about 110 people.
