A medical helicopter responded to a vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, Feb. 7, on Branchton Road near Quail Run Lane in Slippery Rock Township.

According to Butler County Emergency Services, one person was taken from the site of the crash, which took place around 1:40 p.m. Saturday. Branchton Road was closed at its intersection with Route 8 as crews dealt with the wreckage, and it remained closed as of 2:20 p.m. Saturday.
