John ‘Mole’ Ehrhart

John “Mole” Ehrhart, 70, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 11, 1955, in Butler, he was the son of the late William J. Ehrhart and Wilma (Mansfield) Gordon.

Mole was an avid golfer, hunter and cyclist. He enjoyed taking spin classes at the YMCA. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his close friend, Russ Zoelle; his brothers, William C. (Iva Burkert) Ehrhart and Joseph O. Ehrhart; his sister, Trudy (Wayne) Scarborough; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mole was preceded in death by his brother, Richard D. Ehrhart.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to nurse April and physician assistant Alexus for their care of Mole.

EHRHART — Friends and family of John “Mole” Ehrhart, who died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
