Immigration crackdown frightening
Many awful things are happening in this country which frighten me severely!
I came to the U.S. in 1970, and was proud to be part of this marvelous and unique way of self-governing. We had everything a person would want to live their lives as they wished according to our laws — freedom of speech, freedom to vote, freedom to travel.
We are in jeopardy of losing these freedoms little by little.
A good example is Minnesota.
Who are these U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who come in and shoot people who are angered by their behavior?
Who are we as a country to condone the horrible acts?
Are we in the business of shipping people to other countries and letting them do with them as they wish?
Are we as a people that horrible? Are we that insensitive to the needs of others? Are we happy that we are citizens and they are not?
What is wrong with this picture we are presenting to the world? Are we letting the president do as he wishes without consequence? I think it is time to no longer be part of the “silent majority”!
We cannot and should not let this president run our country into the ground, becoming a pariah in the eyes of the world. We must speak up now before it is too late!
Please, people, let us get up and do something. Don’t just stand there and watch.
Voice your concerns, speak up and out!
