Brady Township woman charged with assault, endangering child
A Brady Township woman is being charged with assaulting a man and endangering the welfare of a child on Feb. 1.
Jennifer Lynn Huffman, 24, was arrested after state police responded to a domestic dispute in the 300-block of Orchid Lane in Brady Township.
According to an affidavit, police spoke with a man who said he got in an argument with Huffman. He said Huffman then escalated the argument and became physical.
According to the affidavit, during the argument, Huffman threw one of their children several feet onto a bed.
The man then tried to block the doorway to keep Huffman out of the bedroom. Huffman later struck him on top of the head with a closed fist, and bit the man while he tried to hold Huffman on the ground, according to the affidavit.
Huffman is being charged with felony child endangerment and misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Her preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 11 in front of District Judge Joseph Nash.
