Jack was born Sept. 5, 1934, in Prospect, the son of John A. Davidson and Emma B. (McBride) Davidson. He was a 1952 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. He started his career working for Red Head gas stations in Butler. On March 3, 1956, Jack married Marjory Boyle and shortly after relocated to Bedford Heights when Jack was promoted to a management position at Red Head.
Jack was an expert mechanic. Jack assisted with the Boy Scouts of America after his youngest son enrolled and enjoyed taking his sons camping, fishing and canoeing. Above all, Jack adored his two grandchildren, Tori and Chase. Jack was a wise man with a generous spirit and supported many local and national charity efforts without hesitation. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
