Lynn Marie Gianneski Machen, 68, of Butler, peacefully passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 18, 1957, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Albert E. Gianneski and Betty Lou Warren Gianneski.

Lynn graduated from Butler High School and Geneva College.

Lynn worked for United Telephone Company for several years before moving on and retiring from the County of Butler Department of Domestic Relations, where she worked diligently to make a difference in the lives she touched.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She loved to play in the dirt in her garden, to read and to vacation. Lynn was passionate in her love for her family and friends and she will be greatly missed by them.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Leonard E. Machen, whom she married Aug. 27, 1983; two sisters, Kim E. Wolfrom and her husband, James, of Olean, N.Y., and Lisa A. Marra and her husband, John, of Butler; a number of nieces and nephews; a very special cousin, Darlene Lamka; and many, many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

MACHEN — There will be no visitation for Lynn Marie Gianneski Machen, who died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler, with the Rev. John J. Baver officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of MARTIN FUNERAL HOME SOUTH SIDE, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
