Larry Densmore
Larry G. Densmore, 83, of Noblesville, Ind., formerly of Cranberry Township, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026.
He was born April 11, 1942. He was the son of the late Harry and Alice (Bellas) Densmore of West Kittanning.
Larry is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and William Freil; his sister, Dixie Morgan, of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Densmore; and his brother-in-law, Dennis Morgan.
Larry graduated from Kittanning High School in 1960 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He proudly served and was honorably discharged. Larry earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Clarion State College, in 1968, where he was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. He earned his master’s degree at Slippery Rock State College. Larry taught reading in the Butler Area School District until his retirement in 1999.
Larry enjoyed landscaping, being outdoors, playing tennis, golf and distance biking. Larry and Linda traveled extensively with bikes and a trailer through Canada and most of the United States. He was an avid Penguins fan and spent many years helping to grow amateur and scholastic hockey teams locally.
