Lois M. Risch, 97, of Sarver, passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Jan. 28, 1928, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Lester Stark and Helen Ruediger Stark.

Lois grew up and lived on her parents’ farm and later worked at the Sarver post office until she decided to stay home and raise her family.

Surviving are two sons, Bradley (Debora Rihs) Risch, of Newtown Square, and Barry (Kathy) Risch, of Freeport; her granddaughter, Tatum Eilzabeth Risch and her fiancé, Spenser Lauver; her great-grandpup, Alvin; and her lifelong friend, Andy Korim, whom she met in 1933 when she was just 5 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Risch; her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Stark and James Stark; and her mother- and father-in-law, Alvin and Florence (Macurdy) Risch.

RISCH — Friends of Lois M. Risch, who died Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Roberts officiating.

Interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bull Creek Presbyterian Church, 224 Culmerville Road, Tarentum, PA 15084.
