Shedd

Mary J. Shedd, 89, of Seven Fields, formerly of Greenville and Port Orange, Fla., passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 13, 2026, while under the care of Concordia of Cranberry.

Born in Greenville, Pa. on March 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma Lindsay Williams.

Mary was an elementary school teacher for the Greenville School District.

She had been a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenville and most recently attended St. Mark the Evangelist Parish at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.

Mary was a devoted and loving mom and gram.

She was the beloved mother of Sharyn Lipnicky (husband, Christopher), of Seven Fields; grandmother of Erin Potter (husband, Caleb), of Buffalo, N.Y., and Christopher Lipnicky, of Seven Fields; and great-grandmother of Sophia Lynne Potter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Shedd; and by an infant brother.

SHEDD — Friends of Mary J. Shedd, who died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to the 11 a.m. Mass time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marissa’s Mission, 803 Yardley Commons, Yardley, PA 19067.
