Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Jan. 2 — Ryan Nathan Banner, 39, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a Dec. 29 incident. Police said Banner had two glass smoking pipes.
Dec. 19 — Jeffrey W. Bucci, 46, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Dec. 6 traffic stop. Police said Bucci showed signs of impairment.
Jan. 2 — Kathryn Ann Theis, 43, of Cranberry Township, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft and receiving stolen property following an Oct. 1 incident. Police said Theis stole $81 in merchandise from Henry’s Meat Market.
Dec. 28 — Nicholas Jay Gammell, 44, of Santa Monica, Calif., was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Dec. 28 traffic stop in Cranberry Township. Police said Gammell showed signs of impairment.
Dec. 4 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 12:57 a.m. near the intersection of New Castle and Whipporwill roads in Franklin Township. Police said Jeremy D. McCauley, 36, of Butler, was driving a Chrysler 300 and collided with a Subaru Forester driven by Russell O. Plaisted, 79, of Connoquenessing. Russell Plaisted and his passenger, Dawn E. Plaisted, 75, of Connoquenessing were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Police said McCauley fled the scene.
