Two online music classes sponsored by Butler County Community College are for people who want to learn guitar or piano, but don’t have a lot of time.

Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People and Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People will be taught by Craig Coffman. Each one-time, two-and-a-half hour lesson gets people playing along to songs right away, according to a news release from Chords Are Key, the organization that created the class.

The online video class teaches people how to form basic chords, strum and other tricks of the trade. The classes also introduce basic information about how music is put together.

The class includes an online book, the online recorded follow-up lessons and a professionally recorded version of the class.
