Good Samaritan Hospice beginning weekly support group
Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host a free weekly grief support group from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays from Jan. 29 through March 26 at South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
The free group is led by John Porter, bereavement coordinator at Good Samaritan.
Each meeting will focus on unique aspects of attendees’ grief and emotions in a safe and respected space. Many people find that learning more about grief, connecting with others and listening to other people’s stories helps them feel comforted on their grief journey, said a news release from Good Samaritan Hospice.
Registration is required by Tuesday, Jan. 20. For more information or to register, call the bereavement team at 724 898-0126, Ext. 4426. Learn more about Good Samaritan Hospice at Good-SamaritanHospice.org.
