Moncey

Robert Michael “Mick” Moncey, 73, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 6, 1952, in Butler, the son of the late Michael and Marcia (Moore) Moncey.

Mick was a very outgoing and friendly person who enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was employed at ARC.

Surviving are two sisters, Linda (Dave) Michel, of Butler, and Mary Moncey, of Butler; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Thomas Allen Brink; and a sister, Barbara Petanovich.

MONCEY — Friends of Robert Michael “Mick” Moncey, who died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Private services and burial will be held in Zion Cemetery.
