State Rep. Aaron Bernstine, R-8th, invites senior citizens from his legislative district to attend an upcoming senior citizens luncheon.

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company, 180 Connoquenessing Main St., Connoquenessing.

“Our senior citizens have spent a lifetime contributing to our communities, and it’s important they know about the programs and services available to support them,” Bernstine said. “I look forward to meeting with residents, hearing their concerns and sharing helpful information.”

Seniors can to enjoy a complimentary lunch while learning more about programs and services available to support Pennsylvania’s senior citizens. Information will be available on state assistance programs, transportation services and other resources designed to help older residents remain healthy, informed and independent.
