We would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the deeply respectful and wonderfully compassionate veterans who performed military honors at the funeral of our father, Alla John Snodgrass, on Tuesday morning, Dec. 30, 2025, at Butler County Memorial Park.

We were very moved by the folding and presentation of the American flag, the playing of taps and the three-volley rifle salute. The honors ceremony would have meant a great deal to our father, and thus, it was a profound experience for us, his daughters.

To the veterans of Michael Kosar American Legion Post 778, Joseph T. Black VFW Post 249 and Harmony-Evans City VFW Memorial Post 499: Thank you for your service and thank you for the honors.
