Good Samaritan Hospice presenting at Butler library
The Butler Area Public Library will host an informational talk on “Hospice Care 101” on Thursday, Jan. 15, that will also discuss the many volunteer opportunities that are available with Good Samaritan Hospice.
Hospice care is “comfort care,” when a cure is no longer probable. It provides comfort while offering emotional, social and spiritual support for the patient and their family.
For most families, when the option of curative treatment is no longer beneficial, it can be overwhelming for many reasons. Good Samaritan Hospice will explain how you and your loved ones don’t have to face it alone, according to a news release from the library.
The presentation begins at 1 p.m. at the library, 218 N. McKean St. in Butler. No registration is required for this free event.
