Concordia opens nominations for employee award
The nomination period for Concordia’s highest employee honor, the Stephen W. Johnson Mission Award, is now open.
Current and former residents and patients, Concordia employees and members of the community are able to nominate current employees by filling out an application. The nominator is asked to describe how the employee devotes their time helping others inside and outside of Concordia’s walls.
The nomination period closes on March 13. Nominees will be recognized and the winner of the award will be announced at a banquet in June.
The award was named for Concordia’s late board of directors chairman, who served at Concordia for 19 years. Johnson died on June 11, 2020, and a committee of employees created the award to preserve his memory.
The Stephen W. Johnson Mission Award application is available online at www.SWJMissionAward.org.
