Paul spent his working life in the construction industry, mostly as a commercial electrician and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, where he also served as an instructor in the apprenticeship program.

Paul’s favorite hobby was collecting vintage automobiles from the 1930s to 1980s, which he restored to roadworthiness in either modified or museum-quality original condition.
