Knoch graduate and Penn State-Behrend senior guard Madilyn Boyer bucketed her 1,000th career collegiate point during a 72-28 win over Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday.

Boyer scored 15 points in all, exactly what she needed to hit the milestone.

Seneca Valley graduate and Allegheny senior guard Jess Bickart was named the Presidents Athletic Conference women’s basketball player of the week Monday.

Bickart averaged 18.7 points per game as the Gators went 2-1 last week. She had a triple-double in an 84-58 win over Mount Aloysius, Allegheny’s first such effort since 2012.

Knoch graduate and Allegheny senior guard Ryan Lang was named to the PAC men’s basketball honor roll for last week, while Butler graduate and Geneva freshman swingman Tayt Lucas made the PAC men’s basketball newcomer honor roll.
