Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Dec. 30 — Joseph John King, 42, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor counts each of controlled substance possession and one misdemeanor count each of drug paraphernalia possession, marijuana possession and obstruction following a Nov. 30 incident. Police said King had a glass marijuana pipe, a jar of THC wax, a large grinder filled with marijuana, another container of marijuana, 15 THC gummies and refused to provide information about the vehicle he was driving.

Butler Twp

Dec. 29 — Francesca Gimigliano, 46, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft following a Dec. 27 incident. Police said Gimigliano stole $833.18 in merchandise from Walmart.

Middlesex Twp

Dec. 29 — Richard A. Kratsas, 63, of Valencia, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and disorderly conduct following a Dec. 28 incident. Police said Kratsas pressed hard against a woman’s collarbone, grabbed her and pulled her from a chair leaving bruising.

State police, Butler

Dec. 29 — Philip J. Angert, 67, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a March 27 crash in Summit Township. Police said Angert had a red smoking pipe and tested positive for marijuana.

Dec. 29 — Ryan Nathan Banner, 39, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 31 incident in Center Township. Police said Banner tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl.

Dec. 29 — Aiden J. Kiray II, 22, of Rimersburg, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 4 crash in Fairview Township. Police said Kiray showed signs of impairment.

Dec. 29 — Kenneth M. McCandless, 54, of Prospect, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 2 crash in Franklin Township. Police said McCandless had a blood alcohol content of 0.21% and had open alcoholic containers in the vehicle. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Dec. 29 — Steven Harold Glomb, 60, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a Dec. 26 incident in Penn Township. Police said Glomb punched a woman in the head.

Dec. 29 — Jonathan Andrew Brooks, 34, of McKeesport, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 15 traffic stop in Lancaster Township. Police said Brooks had a blood alcohol content of 0.172%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Dec. 29 — Brandon Mich Gryncewicz, 28, of Erie, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a Dec. 1 crash in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Gryncewicz a blood alcohol content of 0.201%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Dec. 29 — Guizhi Ambrose, 65, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and harassment following a Dec. 25 incident in Jefferson Township. Police said Ambrose punched a man and threw a phone that struck him in the face.

Dec. 30 — Edward E. Ambrose, 69, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of simple assault and harassment following a Dec. 25 incident in Jefferson Township. Police said Ambrose threw a phone at a woman’s face.

Dec. 30 — Police investigated a single-vehicle crash at 1:04 a.m. on Lions Road near Benbrook Road in Center Township. Police said Colette D. Baptiste, 20, of Butler, driving a Mazda CX50, lost traction on the icy road and rolled the vehicle onto its side. Baptiste was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with a suspected minor injury.
