Body recovered from Dec. 29 vehicle fire identified
State police have identified the body found in a burned car Monday, Dec. 29, in Forward Township.
Jerry Watterson was found dead in a vehicle fire called in at 10:48 a.m. on Creek Road, according to Trooper Bertha Cazy, Troop D’s public information officer.
State police ruled the death a suicide. Cazy said no other details are available. The incident is still under investigation.
Butler Ambulance Service, Evans City Area Volunteer Fire Department, Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department and Callery Volunteer Fire Company responded.
