$4 million lottery ticket sold in Cranberry Township

One lucky player purchased a $4-million-winning lottery ticket Friday, Jan. 2, from a Cranberry Township mini-mart, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.

The ticket was sold by Gordon’s Mini Mart at 2620 Rochester Road. The shop will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winning ticket matched the five white balls drawn for the Mega Millions lottery but missed the yellow Mega Ball. The winning numbers were 6-13-34-43-52.

According to the Mega Millions website, the odds of picking the five white balls correctly were 1 in 12.62 million.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be at 11 p.m. Friday with an estimated jackpot of $199 million for matching all six numbers.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.
