George Clooney hits back after Trump mocks French citizenship
George Clooney is brushing off President Donald Trump’s mockery over his new status as a French citizen.
Trump took to his own platform, Truth Social, to bash Clooney and his wife, Amal, upon learning they have secured citizenship overseas, labeling them the “worst political prognosticators of all time.” He told his followers their move comes just as Paris is “in the midst of a major crime problem because of their absolutely horrendous handling of immigration, much like we had under Sleepy Joe Biden.”
Trump went on to reference how Clooney, a major Hollywood fundraiser for Democrats, issued a public call for Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race after he struggled in a debate against Trump in the lead-up to the election.
The “Good Night, and Good Luck” star later supported then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Clooney got more publicity for politics than he did for his very few, and totally mediocre, movies,” Trump continued in his post. “He wasn’t a movie star at all, he was just an average guy who complained, constantly, about common sense in politics.”
Clooney responded on Thursday with a statement to the Hollywood Reporter: “I totally agree with the current president,” Clooney said. “We have to make America great again. We’ll start in November.”
The 64-year-old actor revealed he secured French citizenship last month, specifically citing privacy laws that will better protect the two children he shares with Amal.
“Here, they don’t take photos of kids,” he told RLT radio. “There aren’t any paparazzi hidden at the school gates. That’s number one for us.”

Singer Pink undergoes neck surgery on New Year’s Eve
Pink spent New Year’s Eve in the hospital, undergoing surgery to insert two new discs into her neck, she revealed Wednesday on social media.
The “So What” singer, 46, shared a photo from a hospital bed on Instagram with a bandage on the left side of her neck.
“I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and to fixing my body. It may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck,” she captioned the post. “A new scar, a new reminder, that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth. Rock ’n’ roll is a contact sport.”
Pink, whose legal name is Alecia Beth Moore, said her family spent the holiday snowboarding and celebrating the arrival of 2026 while she was in the operating room. She shares two children with her husband, 50-year-old former motocross racer Carey Hart.
“I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made,” she wrote. “I hope and pray every person can make that wish, have that choice.”
Pink has dealt with health concerns in the past, undergoing hip surgery in 2021 and dealing with a lengthy recovery. She did not say exactly what led to the neck surgery.
“I am leaving behind all of my hurt in 2025,” she wrote. “This year was a doozy for all of us, and it ran the spectrum from absolutely devastating to mildly annoying. In amongst all of that, there was so much beauty.”

Sean Hannity is selling his Florida mansion — he just bought it a year ago
Just a year after snapping up a mansion in Manalapan, a small beach town just south of Palm Beach, Sean Hannity is looking to get rid of it — for a tidy profit.
The waterfront estate cost the Fox anchor just about $23.5 million. The eight bedroom beauty can be yours for almost double that amount, a whopping $44.9 million. Did we mention it comes furnished?
“Crafted for discerning buyers seeking privacy, acreage, and generational quality, this is a rare opportunity to secure a world-class Manalapan estate with scale, infrastructure, and dual-waterfront living that cannot be replicated today,” the listing notes. Vince Spadea Jr. of Douglas Elliman has the listing.
No worries, Hannity’s hardly homeless and most definitely not returning to New York due to his hatred of high taxes, a point he’s hammered home endlessly. The Long Island native still owns property in Palm Beach, just a stone’s throw from President Donald Trump’s winter White House, Mar-a-Lago.
In early 2025, Hannity paid $14.9 million for a two-bedroom townhouse in the gated community of Sloan’s Curve, next door to another bachelor pad he bought for $5.3 million in 2021.
The conservative personality was apparently not living in the stunning manse, Realtor.com notes, instead renting it out for $139,000 a month. It’s unclear if Hannity originally saw this place as an investment, but the 64-year-old’s plans now are reportedly to combine his two townhomes into one styling crib.
So how much does room does Hannity need anyway? Though both of his kids from his previous marriage are grown, his fiancée, fellow Fox reporter Ainsley Earhardt, 49, co-parents a 10-year-old daughter with her ex.
The conservative couple spent the holidays with their blended brood in Paris, as per Earhardt’s Instagram.
