Prentice

Richard LaVern Prentice, 56, born Dec. 10, 1969, passed peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025.

Richard enjoyed caring for his two dogs and two cats. He was a floral designer.

Rick was the loving son of Verna Prentice and his second mom, Cak Marshall; cherished brother of Timothy (Ann), Scott (Heather), David (Pam) and Brian (Heidi) Prentice; proud uncle of 23; dear roommate to Mark Woda; a special friend to Audrey Hamilton; and treasured friend of many.

PRENTICE — Friends and family of Richard LaVern Prentice, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, shall gather to celebrate his life at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at Advance Community Church, 225 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev. Scott Prentice officiating.
