Dorothy Mae “Toots” Eiler Miller, 94, of Chicora, passed away early Saturday morning, Jan. 3, 2026, at Quality Life Services, Chicora, just four days following her sister, Sally, who passed Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at the same facility.

Born June 28, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. Eiler and Hilda Styer Eiler. She was married to the late Albert Glenn Miller, who passed away June 28, 2006.

Dorothy was Catholic by faith. She had been employed at Mac’s Chicken Farm for a period and had also worked as a guard at the former Koppers Chemical Co. in Petrolia. She also served for years as a foster mother. Toots enjoyed a good game of bingo and family poker weekends.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Ken) Malinak, of Petrolia, and Karen (Bruce) Jones, of Chicora; her two sons, Glenn (Judy) Miller, of West Sunbury, and Kevin (Barb) Miller, of Ford City; her sister, Joan Phillips, of Parker; and brothers, Clifford “Tiny” Eiler, of Bruin, and Robert Eiler, of New York; 14 grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Glenn Miller; her daughter, Kathy Goldinger; her sons, Gary Miller and Rick Miller; sisters, Hilda Wolfe, Elizabeth Eiler and Sally Michael; brothers, John “Jack” Raymond, Gerald “Jerry” William “Bill” Parker and Donald.

MILLER — Friends of Dorothy Mae “Toots” Eiler Miller, who died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.

The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private interment will take place at Allegheny Cemetery near Parker.
