Cranberry Township is making it easier for residents to dispose of live trees.
Live trees will be collected through Monday, Jan. 12. Trees should be placed at the curb for the customer’s regular collection day, according to an email from the township.
Customers should remove all ornaments, tinsel and lights, and cut trees into 4-foot sections. Do not place trees into plastic bags or carts. Trees put out for collection after Jan. 17 must have a “Bulky Item” sticker on each 4-foot section.
