Robert Plutyk, 74, of Saxonburg, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at his home.

Born March 6, 1951, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Willis Plutyk and Ethel Hilliard Plutyk.

Bob served two tours in Vietnam as a heavy equipment operator and received the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator throughout the country. He was a member of several area clubs and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are three brothers, Edward (Sylvia) Plutyk, of Sarver, Richard (Karen) Plutyk, of Saxonburg, and Fredrick Plutyk, of Saxonburg; three sisters, Donna Stello, of Blanchard, Sandy (Tim) Flis, of West Deer, and Brenda (Bob) Daubner, of Saxonburg; and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

PLUTYK — Private interment for Robert Plutyk, who died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, will be in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
