Karen Nowakowski
Karen Nowakowski, 83, of Butler, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born Sept. 28, 1942, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Pressley William and Thelma (Brown) Kennedy.
Karen graduated from Butler High School with the Class of 1960 and was a member of All Saints Parish in Butler. Karen’s greatest enjoyment in life was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and taking care of her family.
Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 65 years, Darryl Nowakowski, whom she married June 18, 1960; her daughters, Robyn Windey, of South Carolina, and Kelly Davidson, of Cranberry Township; her son, David (Ashley) Nowakowski, of Saxonburg; her grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsay and Kaitlyn (Levi Rodgers) Davidson, Hunter Nowakowski and Canyon Windey; one great-grandchild, Barrette Rodgers; her sister, Jean Kennedy; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Nowakowski; and her brother, Robert Kennedy.
Karen will be greatly missed and forever loved and never forgotten.
