Carolin Coughenour, 78, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025.

She was born in Morgantown, W.Va., on Jan. 23, 1947, to the late James Kain and Edna (Blosser) Harless.

Carolin attended school in Morgantown and held various careers through her life.

She was known for being a wonderful wife, good mom and friend. She loved animals and country living, always keeping herself busy. She loved working on her home, cooking and spending time outside gardening.

Carolin was the beloved wife of Michael Coughenour since their marriage in 1999; mother of James (Tammy), Johnny, Joey and Stacey Mullen; sister of Electa Pietrantonio, Marlene Price and Brenda Sandy; and grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff, and especially thank Candice and Amanda, at Good Samaritan Hospice for their wonderful care of Carolin.

COUGHENOUR — All services for Carolin Coughenour, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
