Sally L. Michael, 91, of Bruin, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at Quality Life Services — Chicora, after a prolonged illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 2, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda Steyer Eiler.

Sally was employed at the former Parker glass plant before moving to the Knox glass plant, where she retired. She loved camping, playing cards and playing bingo.

She is survived by four children, Sherry Snow, of Butler, Rex (Lorie) Michael, of Hilliards, Charles (Jeannie) Michael, of Sligo, and Brent (Lynette) Michael, of Chicora; brothers, Robert, of New York, and Clifford, formerly of Bruin; sisters, Dorothy “Toots” Miller, of Chicora, and Joan Phillips, of Parker; seven grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, whom she married May 11, 1955; her son, John Michael; sisters, Hilda Wolfe and Elizabeth Eiler; brothers, John “Jack,” Raymond, Gerald “Jerry,” William “Bill,” Parker and Donald; her stepdaughter, Marion; and a great-grandchild.

MICHAEL — Friends of Sally L. Michael, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Bear Creek Cemetery in Sligo.
