Leadership Butler County, the leadership development program run through the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, is doing away with its staple fundraising event.

For 2026, the program will be hosting a Butler County Dancing With the Stars event, which will replace its long-running Murder Mystery fundraiser.

The event will take place Friday, April 10, at the Atrium in Prospect, and feature local community leaders and influencers paired with dance students from Slippery Rock University competing to raise funds in support of the program’s class project.

This year’s class project will aim to raise funds to build a Dog Enrichment Area at the Butler County Humane Society, which will include an agility course.
