Police: Person died by suicide in vehicle fire
After a body was found in a burning vehicle along Creek Road in Forward Township Monday, Dec. 29, state police called the incident a suicide.
Police said in a Tuesday news release that a body was found in a burning pickup truck parked in a pull-off area near 208 Creek Road along Connoquenessing Creek. Emergency services were dispatched at 10:48 a.m.
Police said the body has been identified but did not immediately release the identity. The investigation is ongoing.
